Neighborhood Watch Update June 2015

Building a Stronger Community

Get to know your neighbors. In our busy and active world we don’t spend enough time learning about our neighbors. Watch groups give community members a reason to get together and talk about making their community a better place. Neighborhood Watch activities are a fun way for community members to get to know each other while making a difference.

*Continue to walk and enjoy our beautiful area while being observant of our community.

*Getting to know the people in our district is a great way to foster a more united community.

On August 9th we will have a community barbecue at the Shelter Pt. Pool. Look for more to follow on the website and flyers by the pool gate for people to sign up who are attending.

We can achieve a safe community with well-informed residents working cooperatively.

Neighborhood Watch Meeting

Hello Everyone,

We’ve got a neighborhood watch meeting scheduled for September 11, 2014 at 6:30pm in the Shelter Bay Clubhouse.

This will be a great chance to meet some of your neighbors and learn about how we can all work together to make our community safer.

You all should be receiving a notice shortly via email, so please be on the lookout. We’ll also be posting notices throughout the community this week, so please take a moment to share this information with your neihbors. It would be great to get everyone to attend.

There’s also been a copy of the notice placed in the online folder, where our minutes and other relevant information is stored for viewing at any time.

Thank you,
Scott Walker

Neighborhood Watch Meeting

We all know we are very fortunate to live in this beautiful safe community and we would like to keep it that way. Neighborhood Watch is designed to do just that. Due to the recent series of burglaries in the surrounding area over the last six months, which tend to happen during daytime hours, discussion at our last board meeting concluded that we would have an officer from the MV Police Dept. come and present a Neighborhood Watch Program to our residents. Come and hear what our Community Services Officer from the Mill Valley PD has to say about reducing crime with a Neighborhood Watch Program. We need your help to make this program successful and improve our communication with one another in our beautiful community. Everyone needs to participate in this program to make it effective for one another. Come and learn how we can all work together to know each other and in doing so to reduce crime and improve the quality of life and the value of your area.
